Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Chetan Wadate, trading as Comps Geek, India ("we") for the FormFit AI app and this website. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use them.

1. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 (or older where your country requires) and able to form a binding agreement. If you're under 18, use the app with a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Health and safety

FormFit AI is a training aid, not a medical device and not medical advice. Rep counts, form scores, AI coach notes, calorie figures and body measurements are estimates and can be wrong. Talk to a doctor before starting exercise, especially if you have a health condition or injury. Keep your space clear, use sensible weights and surfaces, and stop if you feel pain or dizziness. You exercise at your own risk.

3. Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you suspect misuse. You're responsible for activity on your account.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you create (workouts, names, feed posts, challenge names). You give us a limited licence to store and show it as needed to run the features you use, for example showing your name and totals to friends. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual or misleading, and don't impersonate others. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

5. Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer, scrape or overload the service, try to access other people's data, cheat leaderboards or challenges with fabricated data, or use the app for anything unlawful.

6. FormFit Pro: subscriptions and purchases

  • Pro is sold through the App Store (and Google Play on Android) as a yearly subscription, monthly subscription or one-time lifetime purchase. The exact price is shown by Apple or Google, in your currency, before you confirm.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in Settings ▸ Apple ID ▸ Subscriptions (iOS) or Google Play ▸ Payments & subscriptions (Android). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. There are no other fees from us.
  • If we offer a free trial it will be shown on the purchase screen; unless you cancel before it ends, it converts to the paid plan shown.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google. See the refund policy.
  • If Pro lapses you keep your data, but Pro-only features lock again.

7. AI features

The AI form coach writes short notes from your workout totals. It can be wrong or generic, it is not a coach, doctor or physiotherapist, and you should use your own judgement. It is only offered on devices that support on-device AI.

8. Our rights

The app, its design, code, 3D models and branding belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app as intended. Third-party components are used under their own licences.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of changes that materially hurt paying users.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for injury arising from exercise, or for losses from data you didn't back up. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

11. Ending things

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see Delete your data). We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our place of business in India have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
